Police Looking for Suspects Involved in Two Separate Incidents: Stabbing and Armed Robbery

Police Blotter reports of the week ending in Aug. 22

Prince William County Police are on the lookout for a suspect involved with an alleged stabbing involving a 40-year-old male on Aug. 22 at the 5400 block of Mapledale Plaza. The suspect is described as about five feet, nine inches tall white male between the ages of 28 and 31-years-old with red hair. He was last seen wearing a red baseball hat and jogging pants.

An investigation is ongoing in an alleged stabbing case that occurred on Aug. 21 at 3:10 a.m. in the area of Oakwood Drive and Seville Circle. The victim, a 40-year-old man reported that he was unaware of who stabbed him.

A suspect is wanted for an armed robbery that took place on Aug. 20 at 10:40 p.m. in the 1300 block of Bayside Avenue. A 19-year-old man reported that the male suspect, described as about six feet, one inch tall, black, medium build between 20 and 25-years-old, approached the victim with a handgun and demanded money. After handing over the wallet, the victim ran and called police. The suspect was last seen wearing a white shirt and black jeans.

Prince William County Police made five arrests on Aug. 21 related to an assault and battery by mob charge. The alleged incident took place at the 14000 block of Florida Avenue where a large fight had broken out and several people suffered minor injuries. A vehicle stopped near Alaska  and Illinois avenues had the instigators of the fight.

Llewellyn Ravyon Carter, 18, Dominique Tyrell McKenney, 20, Alexis A. Martinez, 19, Jhovaan Clyburn, 18 and Donald Prentiss Small III, 18, were all arrested and released on summonses in conjunction with the aforementioned incident.

A homeowner in the 14400 block of Brandon Court reported on Aug. 22 that a burglary occurred between 8 p.m. on Aug. 21 and 5:30 a.m. on Aug 20. Items valued around $700 were reported missing and the suspect is thought to have entered through a rear door by breaking the doorknob.
