Police: Machete Displayed in Woodbridge Armed Robbery

A Woodbridge man's wallet was stolen, according to PWC Police.

Police are looking for two suspects reportedly involved in the robbery of a Woodbridge man's wallet on Oct. 11, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Police responded to the 13600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway on Oct. 11 at 11:56 p.m. for the report of a robbery.

"The victim, a 31-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the area above when he was approached by an unknown man," Perok said. "During the encounter, the victim got into the man’s vehicle which was occupied by another suspect. While in the vehicle, the male suspect pulled out a machete and demanded the victim’s wallet. The suspects took the wallet, which contained an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, and the victim fled.  No injuries were reported."

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic man between 25 and 30 years old, about 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds with a medium build. No clothing description was given.

The second suspect was described as a black man between 25 and 30 years old, about 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds with a heavy build.
