Police: Man Stabbed Acquaintance With Box Cutter

The suspect also reportedly punched the victim during an argument, according to Prince William County Police.

A Stafford man stabbed an acquaintance with a box cutter during an argument early Sunday morning, Prince William County Police said. 

Braxton Henri Mullen, of Deshields Court, is charged with malicious wounding. 

Police responded at 3:35 a.m. to the 16200 block of Catenary Drive for a report of an assault. A 39-year-old Woodbridge man reported that he was having an argument with Mullen, who is a known acquaintance, when Mullen punched him and stabbed him with a box cutter in the upper torso, according to Officer D.J. Jensen, a spokesman for the department. 

The victim left the residence, then contacted police. He declined medical treatment.

Police arrested Mullen without incident. He is held without bond pending a July 24 court date.
