Police: Marijuana Distribution Investigation Leads to Two Arrests

One suspect was from Alexandria, and the other was from Woodbridge, Prince William County Police said.

Police arrested two men on April 16 in connection with a marijuana distribution investigation, Prince William County Police spokesperson Dennis Jensen said.

Jeffery King, 29, of Woodbridge, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. His court date is June 7, and he is being held on a secured bond of $10,000. Melvon Redfearn, 22, of Alexandria, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. His court date is June 7, and he is being held without bond.

Street Crimes Unit detectives initially stopped a car near Occoquan Road and F Street in Woodbridge on April 16. 

"The occupants of vehicle were subsequently arrested for marijuana distribution," Jensen said.

As part of the investigation, a warrant was issued for the search of a residence on Fox Run Place in Woodbridge. Detectives found marijuana, cash and other items connected with distribution at the residence, according to Jensen.
