Police on Lookout for Two Men in Woodbridge Shooting

Police looking for a newer model, silver crossover-type vehicle.

Police are looking for two black men after a shooting occurred in area of Bayside Avenue and East Longview Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

An 18-year-old male from Alexandria told police that he was walking in the area when a vehicle with two unknown men in it pulled up to him.

The passenger of the vehicle allegedly pulled the Alexandria man close to the car while the driver pulled out a handgun and shot towards him. The victim was able to get free of the passenger – who was still in the car – before the vehicle sped away.

No injuries or property damage were reported in the shooting. Police said the incident does not appear to be a random act, althought the investigation is ongoing.

The only description available for the two men was that they were between 30 and 35-years-old with black dreadlocks driving a newer model, silver crossover-type vehicle.
