Police Searching for Stabbing Suspect

Following information comes from the Prince William County Police Department.

Prince William County police are looking for a stabbing suspect after a Washington, D.C. male was allegedly injured in the arm and chest.

Police reports said that they responded to the 1300 block of East Longview Drive on May 8 at 8:16 p.m. where the victim, 19, told police he was in the area when an unknown man approached him and an altercation ensued. 

“During the encounter, the accused allegedly displayed an unknown sharp instrument and attempted to stab the victim,” said Prince William County Police Public Information Officer Jonathan Perok. “Following the altercation, the accused fled the scene.”

The victim was treated at an area hospital for superficial injuries to the arm and chest. Police searched the surrounding area but was unable to locate the alleged assailant.

The male was described as a Hispanic man and was seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a Yankees hat.
