Police: Teen Assaulted, Injured by Group of Suspects
The incident is being investigated as a malicious wounding, according to Prince William County Police.
Police are investigating the reported assault of a teen on Nov. 10 along Forest Park Drive in Woodbridge, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.
Police initially responded on Nov. 10 at 6:03 p.m. to the 15700 block of Forest Park Drive in Woodbridge for the report of an assault.
"The victim, a 15-year-old male of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the above area when he was assaulted by a group of suspects," Perok said. "The victim sustained significant but non-life threatening injuries to the upper body and was transported to an area hospital for treatment."
Police do not think this incident is random. The investigation is ongoing.
