Police: Teen Assaulted, Robbed in His Home

The victim was reportedly robbed of cash.

A Dumfries teen reported being assaulted and robbed in his home on Whisperwood Court on Nov. 22.

Police responded at 3:22 p.m. that day to investigate the reported robbery.

"The victim, a 17-year-old male of Dumfries, reported to police that two males forced their way into his residence and assaulted him," Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said in a release. "During the encounter the men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim before getting into a vehicle and fleeing the area."

The victim reported minor injuries. He described the suspects as a white male and a black male, both between 16 and 18 years old.

"At this point in the investigation, this incident does not appear to be random," Perok said.
