Police: Teen Pushed Off Bike, Robbed of Shoes

Police are looking for a suspect who reportedly pushed a Woodbridge teen off his bike and stole his shoes, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police initially responded to Mapledale Avenue and Dale Blvd on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. for the report of a robbery.

"The victim, a 14-year-old male of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was riding his bicycle in the area above when he was approached by an unknown male, possibly a juvenile," Perok said. "The suspect pushed the victim off of his bike and took his shoes before fleeing on foot into a nearby wooded area. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect."

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male teen between 15 and 17 years old, about 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

He was described as wearing a black and white striped shirt, khaki pants, black socks, no shoes, and carrying an iPod with red earphones.
