Police: Two Arrested for Attempted Burglary in Woodbridge

Homeowner finds two men trying to get into her home. Prince William County Police quickly arrest suspects in the neighborhood.

Two men were arrested late Saturday in the attempted burglary of a Woodbridge home, according to Prince William County Police spokesman Jonathan Perok.

Ali Mohammed Haji, 21, of 3244 Foothill Street, is charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools. A 16-year-old male suspect is also charged with burglary.

At 11:56 p.m. on Feb. 8, officers responded to the 3500 block of Cornice Place to a call of a burglary in progress.

The homeowner told police that she was upstairs when she heard a noise from the lower level. She checked on the noise and found two men trying to get into the home.

The homeowner called police and left the house. Officers quickly detained the two suspects in the surrounding neighborhood, according to Perok.

Court dates were not available for either suspect. Haji is being held without bond. The minor suspect is being held at a juvenile detenion facility.

Since the 16 year-old is going down the "big-boy" path, go ahead and try him as an adult. Don't waste any time with those that feel they have the right to break into someone's home. PLEASE try that with me (you can walk in, but you're getting carried out)!!!
