Police: Two Burglaries, Shots Fired in Woodbridge Area

Incidents reported over the weekend, according to Prince William County Police.

Police reported several incidents over the weekend in the Woodbridge area, according to Officer Jonathan Perok, a Prince William County Police spokesperson. 

Officers responded at 12:20 a.m. Saturday to the 2000 block of Horizon Court regarding a burglary that appeared to have occurred in the afternoon or evening of May 10. It appears that a bedroom window was forced open. According to Perok, a TV and two laptops were reported missing.

At 10:19 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 4000 block of Forge Drive regarding a burglary that likely occurred in the early evening between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry, but an undisclosed amount of cash was reported missing.

And at 3:12 in the morning Sunday, a call of multiple shots fired led police to the 1900 block of Darlington Loop. After inspecting the area, officers found no suspects, but they did retrieve multiple shell casings. A bullet appeared to have struck a fence in the 15200 block of Valley Stream Drive, according to Perok. No injuries or other property damage was reported.
