Police Updates: Home Invasion and 7 Eleven Robbery

Police updates for Sept. 3 - 6.

Prince William County police reported a few incidents of note in Woodbridge over the past few days. Notably, several serious crashes occurred in Manassas, Dumfries and Triangle. Police will be out in force today to make sure everyone is safe this Labor Day holiday.

Police responded to the 7 Eleven located at 13304 Occoquan Rd. on Sept. 5 for a robbery. The victim told the police he was outside the store when a silver SUV pulled up, someone got out and punched him in the chest.

Three other passengers in the car reportedly chased the victim across the street and took personal property before running from the scene. No descriptions of the attackers are available at this time.

A homeowner at the 1900 block of Warren Drive reported to police that two unknown men entered the house through an unlocked front door last night at 12:32 a.m. One of the suspects was allegedly armed with a handgun and told the occupants of the house to get down on the floor.

Police report that it appears one of the men struck the homeowner over the head with a handgun causing it to discharge in the room. No one was hurt in this incident, but police are still on the scene investigating.

Prince William County police are looking for two men in conjunction with this incident. The first is described as a white male, about five feet, ten inches tall and roughly 180 pounds.

The second male is described as a black male, six feet, six inches tall and roughly 250 pounds. Both suspects wore black face masks, black windbreaker jackets and blue jeans.
