Police: Woman Swinging Knife Stabbed Man, Cut Her Foot

Malicious wounding, abduction charges for suspect, according to Prince William County Police.

A woman is accused of stabbing a man in the back during an altercation Monday, according to Prince William County Police.

Laquena Katisha Jordan, 34, of the 18100 block of Kilmer Lane, Triangle, has been charged with malicious wounding and abduction. She is being held without bond.

Police responded at 3 p.m. Monday to investigate the alleged stabbing in the 18100 block of Kilmer Lane. The victim, 32, told police that he and Jordan were in an argument that escalated.

Jordan allegedly grabbed the knife and began swinging at the victim. The victim tried to get the knife away from Jordan and, in the process, was stabbed in the back, according to police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok.

"After the encounter, the victim left the residence and drove to a family member’s house in Fredericksburg, where he was then transported to an area hospital for treatment," Perok said in a statement.

Jordan had also cut her foot. Both injuries were described by police as non-life threatening.
