Police: Woodbridge Man Charged in Dumfries Narcotics Investigation

A Dumfries man was also charged, according to Prince William County Police.

Police have charged a Woodbridge man and a Dumfries man in connection with a narcotics investigation in Dumfries, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

On Feb. 15, Street Crimes Unit detectives concluded an investigation into marijuana sales in Dumfries, but the subsequent arrest information was held for investigative purposes, Perok said. Police found marijuana, packing materials, and cash at a Dumfries residence in the 3400 block of Belleplain Court.

Jamar Arsenio Hylton, 22, of Woodbridge, was charged with possession within intent to distribute marijuana. His court date is May 10, and he was held on a $3,000 secured bond at the time of his arrest. David Levy Yancy, 26, of Dumfries, was charged with possession of marijuana. His court date is April 12, and he was released on a summons at the time of his arrest.
