Police: Three Wanted in Car Theft, Assault on Route 1

Stolen car was 2007 Chevrolet Taho, Prince William County Police said.

Police are looking for two men and a woman reportedly involved in the grand larceny of a Woodbridge man's vehicle, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police initially responded on March 25 at 9:03 p.m. to the 13700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway for the report of a robbery.

"The victim, a 36-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was standing outside of a business in the above area when he observed three unknown individuals, two males and one female, walking towards his direction," Perok said. "As the group approached, one of the individuals struck the victim in the face. Following the assault, the group got into the victim’s nearby running vehicle and fled the area."

The stolen car was a black 2007 Chevrolet Taho SUV with Virginia plates:WVX-8144.

The victim has minor injures. Police are looking for:

  • a white male between 25 and 30 years old, about six feet tall, 250 pounds, with a medium build, bald head, and an unshaven face. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.
  • a black male between 35 and 40 years old, about 6-foot-1, 250 pounds, with a medium build and bald head. He was last seen wearing a black jacket.
  • a black female between 30 and 40 years old, about 5-foot-8, 220 pounds, with a heavy build and short black hair. She was last seen wearing a white sweater and black pants.
