Potential Gas Leak Prompts Fire and Rescue Response at Tackett's Mill
Tackett's Mill Shopping Center was closed off at the lower level while crews investigated.
Fire and rescue, ambulance and HazMat units from Coles, Dale City, OWL VFD and Prince William County Fire & Rescue were on scene at the shopping center at 2241 Tacketts Mill Drive in Lake Ridge Friday afternoon to investigate a potential gas leak.
At 12:30 p.m., PWC Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Joe Robertson said that the investigation was close to wrapping up. As a precaution, the lower level of the Tacketts Mill shopping center was closed off.
Units remaining on scene are waiting for the health inspector.
