Robbery Arrest in Potomac Mills Parking Lot

Man grabbed victim's phone as she attempted to call police, according to Prince William County Police.

A suspect is in custody after a mid-day robbery in the middle of the Potomac Mills Mall parking lot, according to Prince William County Police.

Jeremiah Albert Johnson, 22, of no fixed address, is charged with robbery. He is being held without bond.

Officers responded to the mall at 11:44 a.m. Thursday regarding a robbery. The victim, a 28-year-old woman of Alexandria, told police that she was confronted by an unknown man in the mall.

The man confronted her again in the parking lot. When she attempted to use her phone to call police, the man grabbed her phone and fled the area.

During the investigation, officers were able to locate Johnson and identify him as the suspect. The victim's phone was recovered in Johnson's possession, according to police.
