Talk to the Volunteers That Keep You Safe

Both children and adults are invited to join the Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Firefighters, EMTs and Sparky the Fire Dog at the Spring Festival at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center on May 7 from 1-5  p.m.

OWL VFD will offer tours of an Ambulance, a Fire Engine, and a 100-foot-tall Ladder Truck. Children will receive free fire helmets, temporary tattoos, stickers as well as other goodies. Volunteer Firefighters and EMTs will be on hand to demonstrate fire fighting and rescue equipment and offer fire safety planning tips.

Meet the crew and tour local MEDEVAC helicopter AirCare 1 (owned by PHI Inc).  One of several local aero medical helicopters, AirCare 1 will be landing at approximately 2:30 PM (time could vary due to weather and calls).    Also present will be Sparky the Fire Dog, the OWL VFD firehouse mascot, to teach fire safety to the kids.
