Teen’s Cell Phone Stolen in Dale City

Teen reported being assaulted by three unknown men.

Police are on the lookout for three black men after a 16-year-old Woodbridge teen told police he was assaulted Friday night.

The teen said he was walking in the 5800 block of Mapledale Plaza when three unknown men approached him. Police reports said the men allegedly assaulted the victim and took his cell phone before fleeing the area.

The teen sustained minor injuries and an investigation continues.

No ages were reported for the men, but the teen provided these descriptions to police: 

  • The first male was described to be around 6-feet-tall, 150 pounds, thin build with black, shoulder-length dreadlocks and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and gray and blue shoes.
  • The second male was described as thin build with black collar-length dreadlocks; he was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
  • The third male was described as thin build with short black hair, last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark shirt.
