Teenager Arrested for $600 Damage in Vandalism to School

Suspect called fire and rescue for help after allegedly punching a window

Windows punched out at school have resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old Woodbridge teen and $600 worth of damage. 

Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that police were called around 1 a.m. on Monday morning to investigate vandalism.

Police were able to identify William Jefferson Romero after he called for fire and rescue assistance at his residence for an injury after punching the glass at the school.

Romero was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Romero faces a charge of destruction of property and trespassing on school property. He has a court date on July 15.
