Teenager Wrestles Away From Robber

A teenager told police on Oct. 28 that he was almost robbed four days earlier in the area of Golansky Boulevard and Smoketown Road. He was not injured.

A 16-year-old Woodbridge teenager told police on Oct. 28 that he was almost robbed four days earlier when he was walking in the area of Golansky Boulevard and Smoketown Road.

The police report states that the victim said he was approached at about 10:45 p.m. by a stranger who demanded money. A strugge ensued and the teenager was able to get away. Police have not located a suspect.

Burglary

On Oct. 30 at 9:21 a.m., police responded to the VRE Woodbridge Lot located at 1040 Express Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. The burglary is believed to have occurred between 1 p.m. on Oct. 29 and 9 p.m. on Oct. 30. Entry appeared to have been made into the baggage area of the terminal through a window which had been broken out. The Coffee Club Café located within the terminal was also damaged. Total amount of damage was estimated around $1,600. No items were reported missing.

Burglary

On Oct. 29 at 11:17 a.m., police responded to the 1300 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8 a.m. on Oct/ 25 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 29. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A TV valued around $1,000 and miscellaneous clothing were reported missing.
