Prince William County Police are searching for the suspect in an armed robbery late Thursday in the Dale City area. It's not believed to be a random incident.

The suspect is described as a black male between 18 and 25 years old, 5’7”, 160lbs with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and pink bandana.

Officers responded to 6200 block of Oscar Court in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery, according to police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.

The victim, 20, told police that she and two other women had picked up an unknown man in the area of Dale Boulevard and Hoadly Road to conduct a transaction, Perok wrote in a release.

The man told the women to drive to Oscar Court where he allegedly displayed a handgun and robbed the victim of her wallet. Following the encounter, the man fled on foot.
