Two Local Men Arrested in Fredericksburg Fight

Fredericksburg.com reports a 30 to 40 person fight broke out but ultimately three were responsible.

A Woodbridge, Dale City and Hyattsville, MD man were arrested in a 30 to 40-person fight in Fredericksburg Saturday.

Fredericksburg.com reports that a group of people were fighting when officers entered the Central Station at 1917 Princess Anne St. at about 1:40 a.m..

The article says that a large group was fighting inside the establishment and “fists were flying."

“An announcement was made at least three times for the crowd to disperse or pepper spray would be used, but the announcement was ignored,” said the article. “City officers, who were on the scene for about an hour, called for backup and at least six more officers joined the three already there. The pepper spray was dispersed, and the three people arrested and a number of others were treated at the scene by rescue workers.”

City police spokeswoman told Fredericksburg.com that three arrested, “appeared to be primary aggressors in the brawl and were seen by officers hitting people and knocking them down."

Sincere Al-Amin, 33, of Woodbridge, Dalou Lyall, 33, of Dale City and William Walker, 37, of Hyattsville, MD, were charged with misdemeanors.

Al-Amin was placed in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

The others were released on their own recognizance.
