Three Teenagers Charged With Robbery, Assault by Mob

Andrew Lamont Wright, 19, of Woodbridge and two unidentified teenagers allegedly assaulted a man and took his cell phone, Prince William County Police said.

Three teenagers were charged after they allegedly assaulted a man and stole his cell phone over the weekend, Prince William County Police said. 

Andre Lamont Wright, 19, of Sunny Ridge Court in Woodbridge, was charged with robbery and assault by mob. An unidentified 15-year-old male and an unidentified 17-year-old male, both from Woodbridge, face the same charges. They were not identified because of their ages.

A 53-year-old Woodbridge man reported that he was walking on the 1200 block of Bayside Avenue in Woodbridge on Saturday when three unknown men assaulted him and stole his phone. A security guard helped him, then caught Wright, police said.

Police responded to the report on Oct. 13 at 8:44 p.m. They found the two other teens later thiat evening and arrested them without incident. 

Police said the victim sustained minor injuries. Wright's court date is set for Nov. 28. He was held without bond.
