U.S. Customs Arrests Sexual Assault Suspect in New Mexico
Police: Jerson Jara arrested in sexual assault of Woodbridge girl, age 6.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents in New Mexico apprehended a man wanted in connection to the sexual assault of a Woodbridge girl, according to Prince William County Police spokesman Jonathan Perok.
Arrested March 28, Jerson Jara, 25, is charged with two counts of aggravated sexual batter and two counts of attempted aggravated sexual battery.
According to Perok, detectives began their investigation on Friday, March 22, after claims that Jara had sexually assaulted the Woodbridge girl in January 2012 and February 2013 in her home. Street information is being withheld by Patch to protect the identity of the child.

"Detectives further learned that the accused had also attempted to sexually assault another victim, a 9-year-old girl, during the same time period," Perok said.
Jara will be extradited back to Prince William County. A court date was not available. The photo attached was previously released. It is from Feb. 2013.
