Victim Identified in Woodbridge Murder Investigation

The victim reportedly sustained an injury to his upper body, Prince William County Police said.

The Woodbridge victim of a suspected murder has been identified as 78-year-old Charlie Duncan Adkins. No arrest has been made. 

"Detectives are still investigating this incident and are asking for the public’s help in providing any information which will aid in the investigation," Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said in a release. "This is Prince William County’s fifth murder of 2013."

Adkins was found dead inside a Woodbridge residence on Tuesday after one of his friends went to visit him and found the door unlocked. His upper body had reportedly been injured. He had last been seen Nov. 10.
