Woman, 43, Stabbed Multiple Times Inside Her Home

A 43-year-old woman was seriously injured after an acquaintance stabbed her multiple times, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

On Monday, detectives were called to investigate a stabbing reported on the 14400 block of Watson Drive in Woodbridge.

The victim told police that as she was walking home, a man she knew approached her and the two got into an argument. As the woman tried to enter her home, the man forced his way inside and stabbed the woman multiple times, police report.

The woman was taken to an area hospital, where she was treated for “significant but non-life threatening injuries,” according to police.

Herman Lee Brandon, 68, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and burglary while armed. He is being held without bond.
