Woodbridge Burglaries: $53K Worth of Carpets Stolen

Also, cash stolen from the Prince William County landfill.

Prince William County Police officers responded to the following reports of burglaries in the Woodbridge area. 

On Tuesday at 2:32 p.m., police responded to the All American Carpet and Rugs on Old Bridge Road, where employees reported a burglary. The burglary likely occurred between 6 p.m. on May 24 and 10 a.m. May 28. Police believe the burglar entered through a glass window, which was broken out. The employees reported that multiple carpets, valued around $53,000, were missing.

On Thursday at 5:29 a.m., police responded to the Prince William County landfill on Dumfries Road, where staff reported that a burglary occurred between 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and 5:25 a.m. Wednesday. Police believe entry was made into the buildings on the property through a rear sliding glass window, which was broken out. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing, police said.
