Woodbridge Crime: Armed Robberies in Dale City, Woodbridge

The following information comes from the Prince William County police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Armed Robbery at Safeway 

Prince William County Police are on the lookout for a black male said to be between 22 and 28-years-old who may be connected to an alleged armed robbery at the .

A 19-year-old female employee of the Safeway at 4215 Chesire Station Plaza reported to police that an unknown man at the store approached her and displayed a handgun.  The man took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot prior to police arrival, said Prince William County police public information officer Ericca FIguero.

Police responded to the Safeway on Saturday, June 23 at 11:23 p.m. for the alleged robbery. The man is described at five-feet, nine-inches-tall with 160 pounds of thin build. He was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, a red baseball cap, dark-colored pants and black sunglasses.

An unknown man in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway allegedly robbed two men on Saturday night.

Two Woodbridge men—37-years-old and a 47-years-old— reported to police they were walking in the area above when an unknown man came up to them. The man allegedly displayed a handgun and fired a shot into the ground, police said. The man took an undisclosed amount of money from both men and fled the area on foot.

The man was described as a black male between 30 and 31-years-old, six-feet-three-inches tall with black hair and thin build. He was last seen wearing a white bandana covering his face and a white shirt and jeans.

Underage Teen Given Alcohol at Party 

A 24-year-old Woodbridge resident has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. 

Prince William County Police responded to the 1400 block of California Street on Saturday for a noise complaint. An investigation showed a 15-year-old teen was provided alcohol at a party given at the residence of the 24-year-old.

The accused was arrested without incident.

Burglaries

3100 block of Burbank Lane in Dale City
Investigation showed two air conditioning units and miscellaneous construction items, valued at $2,900, were reported missing form a home under construction. Entered through a front door; there were no signs of forced entry police said. 

13300 block of Packard Drive in Dale City
Two handguns, valued at $650, were reported missing from a home between noon on June 9 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 24. No signs of forced entry at the home but police believe entry to the house was made through a front door.
