Woodbridge Crime: Two Arrested in Stabbing Case

Police have identified and charged two of the suspects connected to the stabbing behind the

Prince William County Police public information officer Jonathan Perok said that the victim was able to provide detectives from the Violent Crime Bureau with the identity the two attackers. 

Following an investigation, warrants were obtained against the accused individuals. Emanuel Lorenzo Myers, 30, was charged with malicious wounding. Myers, from Woodbridge, turned himself in to police without incident on May 22.

Later that night, a police officer was running radar in the area of Prince William Parkway and Minnieville Road. The officer attempted to stop a speeding vehicle and a check revealed that the vehicle owner was the second accused suspect in the case, Perok said. 

Stephanie Jessica Talpin, 24, is charged with malicious wounding, felony eluding and reckless driving.

Police said that Talpin, the driver of the vehicle, allegedly ignored the officer’s emergency equipment including lights and siren. Talpin was apprehended in Washington, D.C. where she will be held until extradited back to Prince William County, police said.
