Woodbridge Crime: Two Charged in Attempted Burglary

The following information comes from the Prince William County Police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Two Woodbridge men were charged with attempted burglary and possession of burglarious tools after a homeowner found them trying to enter a rear window.

A homeowner in the 1900 block of Darlington Loop told police that he had just returned home on March 21 and discovered two unknown men trying to get in through a rear window. Once discovered, the men fled on food. Police responded and established a perimeter around the neighborhood while a police K-95 unit was used in the search, police said.

Police said an officer saw two suspects that matched the description of the homeowner and two witnesses walking in the area of Blackburn Road and Rippon Boulevard in Woodbridge.
