Woodbridge Gang Member Sentenced For Aiding in Sex Trafficking
Michael Tavon Jefferies acted as a bodyguard for his gang's prostitution business that trafficked high school girls.
Woodbridge gang member Michael "Loc" Jefferies, 21, was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison for acting as a bodyguard for his gang's prostitution business that trafficked high school girls, reported Neil MacBride, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Jefferies . Jefferies, a member of the Underground Gangster Crips in Fairfax County, helped the gang traffick teens and adults between November of 2011 and January of 2012 by acting as a bodyguard and splitting the proceeds between himself and another member of the UGC.
Jefferies funded a Backpage.com advertisement and hotel rooms for one of the juvenile sex workers.

After serving his prison sentence, Jefferies will have a supervised release period of five years.
Fellow gang member Christopher Sylvia, of Springfield, faces his sentencing on July 20.
