Police: Woodbridge Man Charged With Beating 4-Year-Old Boy

The boy was reportedly struck to the face.

Police have charged a Woodbridge man with felony child abuse after a 4-year-old boy was reportedly beaten in Woodbridge, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Physical Abuse Unit detectives responded to the 12700 block of Ripple Creek Court on Nov. 5 at 7:35 p.m. for the report of an assault.

"The investigation revealed that the victim, a 4-year-old boy, was struck to his face multiple times by the accused," Perok said. "The victim sustained swelling and other injuries and was subsequently taken to an area hospital for treatment. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested."

Brima Kargbo, 19, was arrested Nov. 5. His court date is unavailable.
