Woodbridge Man Charged with Crimes Against Nature

The following police information comes from the Prince William County Police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Prince William County Police arrested and charged a Woodbridge resident with crimes against nature and contributing to the delinquency of a minor after an alleged sexual relationship with a 16-year-old.

Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that an investigation revealed that the victim, a 16-year-old female from Mexico allegedly met Santos Anibal Lopez Menche, 19, on a social media site when she was living in Mexico.

Perok said the victim traveled to Woodbridge in January 2012 and has lived with Lopez Menche at his residence in the 3400 block of Brookville Lane. Police said the victim and Lopez Menche were allegedly involved in a sexual relationship while in the area.

The victim is in child protective custody and Lopez Menche was arrested and charged at the conclusion of the investigation.

Lopez Menche faces two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and crimes against nature. His court date is unavailable and he is being held without bond.

It's still wrong. He's an adult. What is he doing with a 16 year old anyway? This law protects innocence of children.
