Prince William County Police eventually tracked down the suspect at his home.

A Woodbridge man was charged with eluding police and driving under the influence after police reported that he ignored an officer during an attempted traffic stop, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

John Kenny Queen, 49, was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with felony eludingdriving under the influenceobstruction of justice, two counts of driving on a revoked license and unreasonable refusal.

The incident began when an officer tried to stop a vehicle in Triangle on Feb. 7 at about 10:30 p.m.

"The driver ignored the officer’s emergency equipment and continued to the area of Jefferson Davis Highway near Joplin Road where officers discontinued the pursuit," Perok said.

"The driver was identified by officers as the accused and was located a short time later at his residence," Perok said. "During the arrest, the accused pulled away from officers while they attempted to handcuff him. Officers quickly assumed control of the accused and he was ultimately arrested without further incident. Once arrested, it was determined by officers the accused was driving while impaired."

No one was injured. His court date is unavailable and he is being held without bond.
