Woodbridge Man Charged With Raping a Minor

The following information comes from the Prince William County police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction. 

A Woodbridge man has been charged with rape and indecent liberties with a minor, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

"The investigation revealed that victim, currently a 14-year-old female, was raped by the accused, a known acquaintance, in March of 2010," Perok said. "Recently, in June of 2012, the accused sent the victim sexually explicit text messages."

The investigation was concluded on July 19 with the arrest of the accused. 

His court date is unavailable. He is being held without bond.
