A Woodbridge man and Manassas man were both charged this week with the rape of a 10-year-old Manassas girl, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.
On July 22, detectives from the Special Victim's Bureau began investigating the reported sexual assault of the young girl.
"The investigation revealed that the victim, a 10-year-old girl of Manassas, had both been sexually assaulted by both of the accused individuals listed below," Perok said. "The assaults by both men took place over several years. Both accused individuals are known acquaintances to the victim."
A 20-year-old Manassas woman also reported that she had been sexually assaulted by the Woodbridge man. The Manassas man was arrested July 23, and the Woodbridge man was arrested July 24.
The Woodbridge man was charged with rape, taking indecent liberties with a child, and aggravated sexual battery with both victims. His court date and bond information is unavailable. Thanks for your comments. It is Patch policy not to identify the victims of sexual crimes. By naming those arrested, known acquaintances of the victim, it could inadvertently identity the victim.
Second, as has already been stated, lets let these guys have their day in court. If they are guilty, you will know their names soon enough.
