Woodbridge Man Charged With Selling Firearms to Convicted Felon

He was arrested without incident, Prince William County Police said.

Police have charged Woodbridge resident John Paul Brawley, III, 24, with two counts of selling firearms to prohibited persons, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

On March 13, the PWC Police Street Crimes Unit wrapped up an investigation into the sale of firearms to a convicted felon. The investigation was assisted by Virginia State Police and Fairfax County Police.

"Over the course of the investigation, detectives learned that the accused was selling firearms to persons not able to possess them," Perok said.
