Woodbridge Man Charged With Stabbing Another Man in the Hand

He was also charged with assaulting a 44-year-old Woodbridge woman.

Police have charged Woodbridge resident Justin Veney, 47, with malicious wounding and assault and battery after a 22-year-old Woodbridge man was reportedly stabbed in the hand and a 44-year-old Woodbridge woman was reportedly punched in the face, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Police initially responded on Sept. 14 at 8:14 a.m. to the 14300 block of Bellona Road for a domestic incident.

"The victim, a 22-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, a known acquaintance, which escalated physically," Perok said. "During the encounter, the victim was knocked to the ground. The accused got on top of the victim, pulled out a knife and cut the victim to his hand."
