A Woodbridge man choked an acquaintance after an argument escalated, Prince William County Police said.
Paige Leonard Schulze, 28, of Pomander Lane in Woodbridge, is charged with strangulation and domestic assault and battery.
The 26-year-old female acquaintance reported shortly after 10 p.m. Friday that she had argued with Schulze in his home, and the argument escalated.

Police said that Schulze assaulted the victim and began to choke her. The woman was able to leave the home and call police. She reported minor injuries.
