Woodbridge Man Dies After Being Hit by Truck

A 60-year-old Woodbridge man has died after being struck by a pickup truck earlier this month.

Ronald McGriff Page died on December 27, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

Authorities said that on 4:22 p.m. on Dec. 11, McGriff was crossing Neabsco Road near Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge. As he crossed the roadway, a Ford F-150 that had been traveling eastbound on Cardinal Drive approached the same intersection.

The driver had a green light to proceed across the intersection from Cardinal Drive onto Neabsco Road. The car struck the pedestrian in the roadway, according to police.

McGriff was taken to an area hospital where he later died. The driver, a 67-year-old Woodbridge man, was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash, authorities report.
