Woodbridge Man, Lake Ridge Man Charged With Dale City Armed Robbery

The arrests were made following an investigation into an Aug. 7 armed robbery in the area of Kenwood Drive and Kenmar Drive in Dale City.

Police have arrested a Woodbridge man and a Lake Ridge man and charged them with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and using a firearm while committing a felony, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

On Aug. 10, Detectives from the robbery unit arrested Jeffrey June, 22, of Woodbridge, and Ronnie Ballout, 24, of Lake Ridge, after an investigation into an in the area of Kenwood Drive and Kenmar Drive in Dale City.

"The investigation revealed that the victimss had made arrangements to meet up with a known acquaintance, June, in the area above," Perok said. "Once there June approached the vehicle shortly before another masked male. The masked male displayed a shotgun and demanded the victim’s property."

June was initially reported to police as a victim of the robbery, he said.

"Detectives were able to determine that June was involved in the robbery which led to the identity of the armed suspect, Ballout."

The court date for both men is Oct. 3. They are being held without bond.
