Police: Woodbridge Man's Food Stolen During Strong Armed Robbery

A Woodbridge man was assaulted and robbed Sunday evening, Prince William County Police said. 

Police responded to the area near Bel Air Road and Jeffries Road in the Woodbridge area at 10:05 p.m. The suspect reported that he was walking in the area when he saw an unknown man and an unknown woman. 

"During the encounter, the male suspect assaulted the victim before taking the victim’s bag containing food items and fleeing the area," said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok. 

Police are still looking for a man 20-25 years old, black, about 5'6", 140 pounds, with a thin build, short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white t-shirt. The woman was described as 20-25 years old, black, 5'5", 135 pounds with a thin build, brown eyes and long black hair.
