Woodbridge Man Wanted in Dale City Burglary

Police also looking for a 17-year-old from Stafford.

Police are looking for two teenage suspects after a burglary and grand larceny occurred in Dale City Jan. 2. 

A homeowner in the 5000 block of Kapp Lane in Dale City told police that a burglary happened sometime between 2 p.m. on Jan. 1 and 2 a.m. on Jan. 2. 

Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that entry appeared to have been gained through a locked window. In total, three TVs, a laptop, a car and two gaming consoles were reported missing. The electronics are valued around $2,000. The car, a 2000 red four-door Nissan Xterra, was reported missing from the driveway.

Perok said that through information obtained, it was found that the two suspects – one a juvenile – were responsible for the burglary and stolen car. 

Warrants have been obtained for the the two suspects, but attempts to locate them have been unsuccessful, said Perok.

Police have a warrant for Christopher Laquan Whitaker, 18, of Woodbridge and a 17-year-old Stafford male. Whitaker is described as a black male, 5-foot-11, 140 pounds of thin build with black hair and brown eyes. He is wanted for possession of stolen property.
