Board of County Supervisors to Meet Today

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors will meet on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the Board Chamber of the JamesJ. McCoart Administration Building.

The Board will be briefed on:

• The County’s
• National Association of Counties Awards

The Board will also hold public hearings on

• Various Amendments to County Code
• Several Land Conveyances and a Condemnation
• Zoning Text Amendments pertaining to mortuaries and Crematoriums in Cemeteries, Craftsman/Artisan Shops in the Redevelopment Overlay District, Motor Vehicle Service, Technology Overlay District Setback
• Adopt the VDOT Six-Year Secondary Road Plan Priority List and Annual Allocation

At its 7:30 p.m. meeting, the Board will hold public hearings on

• Special Use Permits for Stonewall < Us R Babies Toys and Kennel, Charlton Lord Gardens, Memory>
• Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezoning of the Harris Property (continued from 1/8/11)

The Board will also consider the Ashland Community Square Pharmacy Special Use Permit (deferred from 5/17/11), for which the public hearing is closed.
