Local Democrats Rally With Kaine in Woodbridge

A group of local grassroots volunteer Democrats gathered at the Daniel Stuart Square offices of Woodbridge District Supervisor Frank Principi to hear former Governor Tim Kaine and Senator Toddy Puller speak during a rally on Saturday.

Also attending the rally were Prince William County Board of Supervisors chairman's candidate Babur Lateef and House of Delegates candidate Esteban Garces.

Principi said, "Today is an opportunity to re-energize the Democratic Party and inspire our volunteers to make a difference in the quality of life of Woodbridge residents."

"We are going to make great strides over the next 17 days," he added.

Lateef faces incumbent Corey Stewart, a Republican, and independent John Gray on Nov. 8.

Garces faces challenger Mark Dudenhefer for the new 2nd District House seat.

Principi faces Republican Chris Royse.
