Planning to go into D.C. on Inauguration Day? Three Metrorail stations will be closed, VRE will have no service and the PRTC Omniride and Metro Direct will have limited service. Find out more about your transportation options.

Keep your trip in and out of D.C. uneventful. Don't bring something prohibited along the parade route, at the inauguration balls, or the White House reviewing stand.

Events and Activities

If you didn't get a ticket to the inauguration, . Make sure you're properly dressed for the event.
