Northern Virginia Voter Registration Day Tuesday

Register to vote this Tuesday for the Nov. 5 elections. The deadline to register is Oct. 15.

If you have moved, changed your name or need to check the status of your voter registration, this Tuesday is your chance.

Northern Virginia Voter Registration Day is Tuesday, Oct. 1, and several jurisdictions are hosting coordinated voter registration events.

In Prince William County, visit the following VRE stations between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.:

  • 1040 Express Way, Woodbridge
  • 10637 Piper Lane, Bristow
  • 9451 West Street, Manassas
  • 9300 Manassas Drive, Manassas Park

The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 5 Virginia General Election is Tuesday, Oct. 15.

The Nov. 5 elections include the general election for Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, and the House of Delegates, and the special elections for the Woodbridge District School Board and an Occoquan Town Council seat.  

Check your voter registration or polling place online with the State Board of Elections. You can also register to vote or change your address by going online. The deadline to register or update your voting records is Oct. 15. 

To register or update your voting records, visit the Office of Election or a local DMV office by 5 p.m. on Oct. 15, complete the State Board of Elections process by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 15, or mail in the form with an Oct. 15 postmark.
