Last Day to Register to Vote for the March Primary

Today is the last day to register in order to vote in the March primary.

The Virginia State Board of Elections says today is the last day to register to vote in the March 6 Republican primary.

As a refresher, in Virginia, you have to be at least 18-years-old and a resident of the United States and Virginia. Also, you can't be registered to vote in another state, not currently declared mentally incompetent by a court of law and if you are felon, your right to vote must have been restored.

To register to vote, view this list of locations or fill out this document.

In Virginia, Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are the only two Republican candidates on the ballot. Newt Gingrich did not get enough signatures in the Commonwealth to be on the ballot, he dropped his fight to get on the ballot on Feb. 6. There is no Democratic primary.
