Zion Baptist Church of Woodbridge for opening their door as a temporary shelter, the American Red Cross who operated the shelters, the County and Park Authority staff who spent thousands of hours dealing with the aftermath of the destruction caused by Hurricane Lee, and the many other churches, nonprofits and private citizens who pulled together to offer a warm hand of help to these folks when they needed it most," said Stewart in a prepared statement.

said that more than 40 families from the flooding are without permanent housing.
